The Santa Maria Women's Network ("SMWN," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through smwn.wildapricot.org, how we use and protect it, and your rights regarding that information.
Information We Collect
How We Use Your Information We use member and visitor information to process membership applications and renewals; register you for meetings and events; maintain the online Member Directory (visible to logged-in members, unless you opt out); send communications about meetings, events, and Network business, including renewal reminders; and administer the annual Member Grant program.
Payment Information All credit card and payment transactions on this site are processed through AffiniPay (Wild Apricot's integrated payment processor, also referenced as Personify Payments), a PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateway. Your card number and payment credentials are encrypted in transit and at rest by AffiniPay. SMWN does not store, view, or have access to your full credit card number on our Wild Apricot servers. We retain only the transaction records necessary for accounting and receipting (amount, date, last four digits, transaction ID).
How We Share Information We do not sell member or donor information. We share information only with: AffiniPay, to complete transactions; Wild Apricot, which hosts our membership database and website; and service providers who help us operate the Network, under confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information if required by law.
Your Rights and Choices Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal information under laws such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and similar state privacy laws. To exercise these rights, contact our Board of Directors. Members may also update or remove Directory information directly through their member profile.
Data Retention & Security We retain member records for as long as needed to administer membership, comply with our Bylaws, and meet accounting obligations, and take reasonable measures to protect information against unauthorized access.
Children's Privacy Our services are intended for adults; we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
